George Joseph Olakkengil, professionally known as George Joseph, is an Indian composer, programmer, and music producer predominantly working in Hindi films. He began his career as a music programmer, collaborating with various music directors such as Salim-Sulaiman, Shantanu Moitra, Raju Singh, Clinton Cerejo, Lesle Lewis, Amit Trivedi, Sanjoy Chouwadhary, Rajat Dholakia, and Ranjit Barot.
In 2012, he made his debut as a score composer and has since produced and composed background scores for numerous Bollywood Hindi, Marathi, Punjabi, Telugu, Malayalam, Bengali, and English-language films.
Joseph’s versatility extends to working on the trailer and producing the musical theme for the American mystery thriller “Broken Horses (2015).” He has also contributed as a score composer for films like “102 Not Out,” “Hum Chaar,” “Mee Raqsam,” “Kaadan,” and TV shows like “Ragini MMS 2” and “Hello Mini.” Based in the Chembur neighborhood, he began his musical journey alongside film composer Ram Sampath.
