Biography:

Gautam Rode, born on 14 August 1977, is a highly acclaimed Indian actor celebrated for his stellar performances in iconic television series like Baa Bahoo Aur Baby, Lucky, Saraswatichandra, Suryaputra Karn, and Kaal Bhairav Rahasya 2. Originally hailing from New Delhi, Rode and his family later relocated to Mumbai.

His father, Surendra Rode, a retired broker, and his mother, Sangeeta Rode, a jewelry designer, provide insights into his diverse upbringing. Gautam Rode commenced his academic journey at Army Public School, Dhaula Kuan, Delhi, initially enrolling at Shaheed Bhagat Singh College before officially joining Delhi College of Arts and Commerce.

Rode made his television debut in 2000 with the Zee TV show Jahan Pyaar Mile. His foray into Bollywood occurred in 2002 with the film Annarth, where he played Inspector Sameer Deshmukh, earning commendation for his on-screen presence and adeptness in stunt sequences.

Over the years, Rode showcased his versatility through diverse roles in episodic television shows, reality dance competitions like Nach Baliye, and film projects, including Agyaat (2009) and Aksar 2 (2017).

The pinnacle of his television career arrived in 2013 when Rode played the lead role in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Saraswatichandra, opposite Jennifer Winget, marking a significant turning point in his professional journey.

Beyond the small screen, he continued to make strides in films and television, portraying characters in projects such as Kaal Bhairav Rahasya Season 2 (2018) and State of Siege Temple Attack (2021).

Rode’s commitment extends beyond the entertainment realm; he is recognized as a fitness enthusiast adhering to a vegetarian lifestyle. Presently residing in Kandivali, Mumbai, he married co-actress Pankhuri Awasthy Rode in 2018, and in July 2023, the couple welcomed twins, a boy and a girl.
