G. Marimuthu

Biography:

Indian actor and filmmaker G. Marimuthu has directed and acted in Tamil-language films. With Kannum Kannum (2008), he made his directorial debut. Since then, he has worked on various projects, such as Pulivaal (2014), and has appeared as an actor in supporting roles.

G. Marimuthu from his home in the Theni village of Pasumalaitheri in 1990 with the intention of becoming a film director, and he travelled to Chennai. He began his career as a waiter in hotels, met lyricist Vairamuthu through their shared love of literature, and eventually succeeded in getting a job as Rajkiran’s assistant director for the films Aranmanai Kili (1993) and Ellame En Rasathan (1995). After that, Marimuthu worked as an assistant director for a number of directors, including Mani Ratnam, Vasanth, Seeman, and S. J. Surya, before joining Silambarasan’s crew to co-direct Manmadhan (2004).[2] Prasanna and Udhayathara starred in G. Marimuthu’s first romantic comedy, Kannum Kannum (2008).

He gave his acting profession top priority in the 2010s and appeared in supporting roles in Tamil films. His acting debut was in Yuddham Sei (2011), when he portrayed a dishonest police officer, according to Mysskin. After the movie’s popularity, he went on to star in more movies including Aarohanam (2012), Nimirndhu Nil (2014), and Komban (2015), frequently playing a police officer. Vishal hired him to appear in Kaththi Sandai (2016) as a result of his performance in Marudhu (2016).

He made his television acting debut in 2022 as the main antagonist in the TV series Ethirneechal, which helped him build a sizable fan base.
