Emma Laird

Biography:

Emma Laird is an actress from England. Her most well-known television role is in the Paramount+ series Mayor of Kingstown. Among her films are Satisfaction (2025), The Brutalist (2024), and A Haunting in Venice (2023). Laird hails from Chesterfield. She completed her A Levels in 2014 while attending Tupton Hall School.

Laird was a model for seven years after being scouted by Models 1 at the Leeds Festival when she was eighteen. She took on the role of Pandora’s face for the company’s autumn campaign in 2019. Laird has criticised the modelling industry, describing it as “very dangerous for young girls” since she was constantly advised to reduce her weight. She was also “bored” by the lack of creative freedom. Weary, she enrolled in the New York Film Academy’s acting program.
