Biography:
Actor Ammanath Babu Chandran, whose stage name is Edavela Babu, was born on August 11, 1963, is from India and works in Malayalam films. His stage name, Idavela, came from the film in which he made his acting debut in 1982. He has since contributed to more than 200 movies. Babu is the Association of Malayalam Movie Artists’ (AMMA) general secretary. He currently belongs to the political party Indian National Congress.
