Divyansha Kaushik

Biography:

Divyansha Kaushik is an Indian actress known for her work primarily in Telugu and Tamil cinema. Her debut in the film industry was marked by the Telugu movie “Majili” in 2019.

Hailing from Delhi, Divyansha grew up in a family with connections to the film industry. Her mother, Anju Kaushik, is a well-known makeup artist in Hindi cinema, known for her work with Rani Mukerji. Divyansha herself interned with Yash Raj Films at one point.

In 2019, Divyansha made her acting debut in the Telugu film “Majili,” where she starred alongside Naga Chaitanya. The film achieved success at the box office, and her performance was highly praised, with Firstpost describing her as a “terrific new talent” and a pleasant surprise in the movie.

Following her Telugu debut, she ventured into Hindi cinema with “The Wife” in 2021. The film received mixed reviews from critics and was released on ZEE5.

In 2022, she played the lead role opposite Ravi Teja in the Telugu film “Ramarao on Duty.” However, her role received criticism for its lack of substance, with some considering her miscast. The film did not perform well at the box office.

In 2023, Divyansha appeared in the film “Michael” alongside Sundeep Kishan. She also has upcoming projects, including Sudheer Varma’s Telugu film opposite Nikhil Siddharth and the long-delayed Tamil film “Takkar,” where she will star alongside Siddharth.
