Dhyan Sreenivasan (born 20 December 1988) is an Indian actor, director, screenwriter, and producer known for his work in Malayalam cinema. He made his acting debut with Thira (2013), directed by his elder brother Vineeth Sreenivasan. He ventured into direction with the romantic comedy Love Action Drama (2019), starring Nivin Pauly and Nayanthara, which became a major success.
Born in Thalassery, Kannur district, Dhyan is the younger son of acclaimed actor, director, and screenwriter Sreenivasan and his wife Vimala. His brother Vineeth is also a prominent actor and filmmaker in the Malayalam film industry. After completing his engineering studies, Dhyan pursued visual communication. His directorial talent was first noticed by Vineeth, who cast him in Thira after seeing a short film Dhyan directed and acted in.
Following his debut, Dhyan appeared in several films, including the popular Kunjiramayanam and Adi Kapyare Kootamani. In 2017, he expanded his creative contributions by writing the script and dialogues for Goodalochana. Dhyan married his long-time girlfriend, Arpita Sebastian, on 7 April 2017. Known for his versatility, Dhyan continues to explore multiple facets of filmmaking.
