Deepak Parambol

Actor
Born : 01/11/1988
Birth Place : Kannur, Kerala

Biography:

Deepak Parambol, an emerging talent in the Malayalam film industry, has showcased versatility through a range of roles within a relatively short tenure. Born in Kannur, Kerala, Deepak pursued his schooling at Azhikode High School and completed his graduation at the University of Calicut. Subsequently, he pursued post-graduation in MCA at Calicut University.

Contrary to the characters he portrays on screen, Deepak is known for his soft-spoken demeanor. In interviews, he has expressed contentment with minor roles, valuing the learning experience they offer over the pursuit of lead roles. For Deepak, the essence lies in the quality of characters that contribute to his growth as an actor.

Deepak Parambol made his cinematic debut with a minor role in ‘Malarvaadi Arts Club’ in 2010. However, it was his portrayal of a Communist youth in ‘Thattathin Marayathu’ (2012) that garnered attention, propelling him into the spotlight and capturing the interest of directors. He further showcased his talent in films like ‘D Company’ and ‘SIM,’ with special appearances in projects such as ‘You Too Brutus’ and ‘Loham,’ for which he underwent weight loss.

In 2013, Deepak ventured into antagonistic roles with ‘Thira,’ portraying a character involved in human trafficking, marking a departure from his previous roles. Subsequently, he transitioned into lead roles with ‘John Paul Vaathil Thurakkunnu’ (2014) and ‘Nellikka’ (2015), where he embodied distinct characters. Notably, in ‘Kunjiramayanam’ (2015), directed by Vineeth Sreenivasan, Deepak portrayed the character of Sasi.

Beyond his acting pursuits, Deepak is an avid traveler, relishing the opportunities that filming provides to explore diverse locales. His most recent work includes a minor role in the film ‘Vettah’ (2016), featuring acclaimed actors Kunchacko Boban, Manju Warrier, and Indrajith Sukumaran, released on February 26, 2016.
