Australian actor Damon Herriman was born on March 31, 1970. His most well-known performances are as Romeo in the Starz drama miniseries Flesh and Bone (2015) and Dewey Crowe in the FX neo-western crime series Justified (2010–15). Additionally, he is well-known for his two roles as Charles Manson: in the comedic drama film Once Upon a Time in Hollywood (2019) and in the second season of the Netflix psychological crime thriller series Mindhunter.
Herriman was nominated for the AACTA Award for Best Actor in a Supporting Role for his performance as Ruse in the historical psychological thriller The Nightingale (2018) and won the AACTA Award for Best Actor in a Leading Role for his portrayal of Punch in the black comedy Judy and Punch (2019).
Growing up in Vale Park, Damon Herriman was born in Adelaide, South Australia. At the age of eight, he started performing in local TV commercials, but his career didn’t really take off until two years later, when he was cast as Frank Errol in The Sullivans. He kept up his normal job as a child actor, returning to The Sullivans a year later. He also appeared in the Australian series The Patchwork Hero, Sara Dane, For the Term of His Natural Life, and Taurus Rising. For his role in The Sullivans, he was nominated for three Logie Awards.
