American film and television producer Brian Thomas Grazer was born on July 12, 1951. Together with Ron Howard, he established Imagine Entertainment in 1985. Their movies have brought in more than $15 billion. For Splash (1984), Apollo 13 (1995), A Beautiful Mind (2001), and Frost/Nixon (2008), Grazer was personally nominated for four Academy Awards. His movies and TV shows have received 217 Emmy and 47 Academy Award nominations. Grazer and Ron Howard split the 2002 Academy Award for Best Picture for A Beautiful Mind. He was listed among Time’s “100 Most Influential People in the World” in 2007.
