Biswapati Sarkar, an Indian Screenwriter and Producer, is a key figure at Posham Pa Pictures, a production company he co-established alongside Sameer Saxena, Amit Golani, and Saurabh Khanna. Prior to this, Sarkar held the position of Executive Creative Director and Writer at The Viral Fever (TVF).
He gained recognition under the alias ‘Arnub’ for his parody of Arnab Goswami in the YouTube sketch series “Barely Speaking with Arnub.” This series features various celebrities, including Shahrukh Khan, Ranveer Singh, Parineeti Chopra, Ali Zafar, Sunny Leone, Arvind Kejriwal, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Anil Kapoor, and Chetan Bhagat.
Sarkar has contributed as a writer to web series such as “Kaala Paani,” “TVF Pitchers,” and “Permanent Roommates,” as well as films like “Jaadugar” and “Fighter.”
Born in Rourkela, Odisha, into a Bengali family, Biswapati Sarkar is a graduate of IIT Kharagpur, having pursued a Statistics MSc(5 year) program. His career commenced with scriptwriting, and he later became an integral part of TVF, founded by his college senior Arunabh Kumar. Sarkar played a pivotal role in inviting Jitendra Kumar to join TVF in 2012. His debut video on TVF as a writer was “Rowdies – Sab Q-tiyapa hai!”. Previously, Sarkar served as the Executive Creative Director at TVF, contributing significantly to the creation of many of their early works.
