Bhavani Sre

Biography:

Bhavani Sre is an Indian actress and playback singer who mostly works in Tamil cinema.  Her roles in Viduthalai Part 1, Paava Kadhaigal, and Ka Pae Ranasingam have earned her recognition.

G. Venkatesh and playback vocalist A. R. Reihana are the parents of Bhavani Sre. G. V. Prakash Kumar, her older brother, is a producer, actor, playback vocalist, and music composer.

The Telugu online series High Priestess, which debuted on ZEE5, was Bhavani Sre’s acting debut. She made her acting debut in Tamil in 2020, appearing in Ka Pae Ranasingam, directed by Vijay Sethupathi.  In the 2020 Tamil anthology film Putham Pudhu Kaalai, she performed three songs.  She appeared in Sudha Kongara’s “Thangam” segment in the Netflix release of the Tamil anthology film Paava Kadhaigal.

In 2023, Bhavani Sre starred in her first feature film as a lead actress in Vetrimaaran’s Viduthalai Part 1 . She appeared in Nanban Oruvan Vantha Piragu, the directing debut of Meesaya Murukku star Ananth Ram, in 2020. The movie came out in 2024.
