Balaji Venugopal is an Indian actor known for his work in Tamil films. His career initially began as a radio host, where he served as a radio jockey for Radio Mirchi. Currently, he continues to be active in the radio industry as a prime time radio jockey for Hello FM.

Balaji’s journey in the entertainment industry expanded when he transitioned into television. He became a television presenter for Vijay TV, hosting the show “Vasool Rani,” and later, he hosted “Raagamaalika” on Jaya TV.

His foray into the world of acting commenced with his debut in the film “Poi Solla Porom” in 2008. Subsequently, he appeared in notable Tamil films such as “Madrasapattinam” (2010), “Nanban” (2012), and “Kadhalil Sodhappuvadhu Yeppadi” (2012). However, his breakthrough came when he took on a leading role in the noir comedy film “Sutta Kadhai” in 2013.

Balaji Venugopal’s versatility as an actor is highlighted by his ability to play various roles, including antagonistic ones. Notably, he portrayed the antagonist in the film “Naaigal Jaakirathai” in 2015.
