Biography:

B. Babusivan, an Indian film director and screenwriter known for his work in Tamil cinema, was born on November 4, 1964, and sadly, he passed away on September 16, 2020. His career in the film industry commenced with him serving as an assistant director under the guidance of filmmaker Dharani. It was in 2009 that Babusivan ventured into independent filmmaking, directing the movie “Vettaikaaran,” which featured Vijay, Anushka Shetty, and Srihari in lead roles.

Following a considerable break from the industry, Babusivan made a comeback in 2019, but this time in the realm of Tamil serials. He took over the direction of the Sun TV serial “Rasaathi.” His contributions to both films and serials left a mark in the Tamil entertainment industry. Tragically, B. Babusivan passed away on September 16, 2020, marking the end of a career that spanned the domains of filmmaking and television direction in Tamil Nadu.
