Biography:

Actress Azmeri Haque Badhon, who was born in Bangladesh on October 28, 1983 , has also acted in Indian films. After placing second in the Lux Channel I Superstar competition in 2006, she gained notoriety. Later, in 2010, she starred alongside Ilias Kanchan and Champa in her first motion picture, Nijhum Oronney. She performs in dramas on television as well. Rehana Maryam Noor (2021), the first officially chosen Bangladeshi film in the “UnCertain Regard” section of the 74th Cannes Film Festival, marked Badhon’s breakout performance. She earned the Hong Kong Asian Film Festival award in the New Talent category, the 14th Asia Pacific Screen Awards (APSA) in the “Best Actress” category, and the Bangladesh National Film Award for Best Actress.
