Anupriya A. Nagar
Biography:
Anupriya Nagar is a young Indian film producer whose journey into cinema reflects a combination of education, creativity and personal conviction. She studied economics at the University of Bath in the United Kingdom and developed interests in art, dance and storytelling. Alongside her academic work, she participated in university activities and charitable initiatives, gaining experience in leadership, fundraising and organising creative projects.
Anupriya came into the film industry through Hanuman Ansh (2026), a devotional film inspired by the life and teachings of Neem Karoli Baba, also known as Maharaj Ji. According to media interviews, she became involved when the film had already been shot and its team needed financial support to complete post-production. She invested savings accumulated through part-time work in the UK and helped the project move towards completion.
Her motivation was to introduce the spiritual story of Neem Karoli Baba to younger audiences, particularly people of her own generation. The film represents her first major feature-production project and brought her public recognition as a young producer. Anupriya’s journey demonstrates how a person can move from an academic background into filmmaking by combining financial commitment, creative interests and a clear purpose. She has also expressed interest in developing further stories inspired by the spiritual world of Maharaj Ji.
