He is well recognised for his work with filmmaker Danny Boyle on the films Shallow Grave (1994), Trainspotting (1996), The Beach (2000), and 28 Days Later (2002). Additionally, he has regularly worked with writer-director Alex Garland and screenwriter John Hodge.
