Her first significant performance was in the 2001 Tamil comedy Friends, directed by Siddique and starring Vijay and Suriya. Her career took off after she co-starred in an item number for the song “Aa Ante Amalapuram” in the 2004 Telugu movie Arya with Allu Arjun. The actress received more offers for comparable roles as a result of her popularity. With Ali and Venu Madhav in her first main part, she signed on to shoot for 30 days in the 2005 Telugu comedy Hungama after being persuaded by the director Krishna Reddy. The actress’s highest honor to date came from winning the Nandi Award for Best Female Comedian for her work in Paisalo Paramatma.
