Singeetam Srinivasa Rao, born on September 21, 1931, is a multifaceted Indian filmmaker, known simply as Singeetam in the industry. His career spans various roles, including director, screenwriter, producer, composer, and actor. Singeetam is widely recognized as one of India’s most versatile directors, and he is credited with revolutionizing South Indian cinema through his innovative and experimental films.

Throughout his illustrious career, Singeetam has directed approximately sixty films in languages such as Telugu, Kannada, Tamil, Hindi, and English. His diverse filmography covers a wide range of genres, showcasing his remarkable ability to excel in different cinematic styles.

Singeetam Srinivasa Rao’s contributions to the film industry have not gone unnoticed, as he has received numerous accolades.
