Priyanka Dutt Chalasani is an Indian film producer best known for her work in Telugu cinema. She was born on December 19, 1984. She is the offspring of renowned Indian film producer C. Ashwini Dutt, who founded Vyjayanthi Movies. At the University of California, Los Angeles, Dutt studied filmmaking. She co-produced the movie Balu in 2004 when she was 20 years old, marking her debut as a filmmaker. Her short film, Yaadon Ki Baraat, was presented at the 2013 Cannes Film Festival. She is the creator of Three Angels Studio.
Dutt got her start in the film business by helping the Bombay-based director and commercial filmmaker Shoojit Sircar on a number of his commercials for different companies.
She moved to Hyderabad to co-produce movies with her father’s banner Vyjayanthi Movies. She co-produced three films: Balu (2005), Jai Chiranjeeva (2005), and Shakti (2011).
To promote New age movies, Dutt established her own production company, Three Angels Studio, in 2009. The studio’s debut movie, Baanam (2009), tells the tale of an IPS official who is also a Naxalite. The way the topic was handled in the movie received favorable reviews. In 2009, the movie earned Priyanka the Silver Nandi Award for best picture. Under the name Three Angels Studio, she additionally created corporate films for upscale companies in India.
