Biography:

Pramod Shetty is an accomplished Indian actor renowned for his contributions to Kannada cinema. Commencing his journey as a theater artist, Pramod gained exposure through appearances in various Kannada serials.

His cinematic debut transpired in 2010 with the film “Jugaari.” Pramod’s noteworthy performances in films like “Ulidavaru Kandanthe” (2014) and “Kirik Party” (2016) earned him recognition. Married to actress Supreetha Shetty since 2010, the couple is blessed with two children.

Born to hotelier Raju Shetty and homemaker Devaki, Pramod, the youngest of three siblings, completed his early education at Nalanda and Theresa schools. His academic journey continued at BHS group institutions, shaping his formative years. While at BHS, Pramod immersed himself in the Rangasourabha theatre group, marking a transformative phase.

He embraced various skills, including set design, acting, music, and directing workshops for aspiring actors. Pramod’s theatrical prowess flourished, earning him accolades such as the Best Actor award at the State level theatre competition for his role in “Kaakanakote.”

Having worked with Indian theater stalwarts like Jayashree, Pramod Shiggav, and others, Pramod honed his craft. His directorial debut, ‘Male Nilluvavrege,’ showcased his prowess within the Rangasourabha team.

Pramod also collaborated on international productions, such as “Zappadockel and Wok” and “Robinson and Crusoe,” under the esteemed theater space, Ranga Shankara. Pramod Shetty’s journey encompasses a rich blend of theater and cinema, marking him as a versatile and accomplished artist in the Indian entertainment scene.
