Nagoor Saheb, renowned by his stage name Mano, is a multifaceted Indian talent, encompassing roles as a playback singer, voice-over artist, actor, and composer. With a prolific career spanning several decades, Mano has made an indelible mark in the Indian entertainment industry, particularly in the realms of Telugu and Tamil cinema.

Mano’s musical journey is nothing short of remarkable. He has lent his soulful voice to over 24,000 songs, both for films and private albums. His melodious renditions have graced a multitude of Indian languages, including Telugu, Tamil, Bengali, Kannada, Malayalam, Hindi, Tulu, Konkani, and Assamese films. His versatile vocal range and ability to infuse emotion into every note have made him a sought-after playback singer.

Beyond the recording studio, Mano’s magnetic presence on the stage has seen him perform at more than 3,000 live concerts across continents, captivating audiences with his charismatic performances.

One of his most notable collaborations has been with the legendary music director Ilaiyaraaja, with whom he has recorded numerous soul-stirring melodies. His enduring partnership with Ilaiyaraaja has been instrumental in shaping the sound of Tamil music.

In addition to his singing prowess, Mano has made a significant impact as a voice-over dubbing artist. Notably, he took on the role of the voice for the iconic actor Rajinikanth in Telugu from the film “Muthu” (1995) onwards, becoming synonymous with Rajinikanth’s on-screen presence. His skills also extended to dubbing for Kamal Haasan in select Telugu films.

Mano’s talents extend to the small screen as well, where he hosts “Manathodu Mano,” a musical talk show on Jaya TV. This venture showcases his passion for music and his ability to connect with audiences beyond just singing.

On a personal note, Mano has been happily married to Jameela since 1985, and they have a son named Shakir, who is an actor recognized for his role in “Naanga” (2012).
