Jaideep Ahlawat

Biography:

Jaideep Ahlawat is an Indian actor known for his roles in Hindi films and series. Born in Kharkara, Haryana, he graduated from Maharshi Dayanand University in 2005 and later completed his acting education at the Film and Television Institute of India in 2008. Although he initially aspired to be an Indian Army officer, he turned to acting after unsuccessful attempts at SSB interviews.

Starting his career without any industry connections, Jaideep gained notice in Priyadarshan’s “Khatta Meetha” (2010) and later played significant roles in films like “Gangs of Wasseypur” (2012) and “Raees” (2017). He also appeared in successful series like “Paatal Lok” (2020) and “Bard of Blood” (2019). In 2020, he won a Filmfare OTT Award for his role in “Paatal Lok.”

Jaideep’s filmography includes notable films such as “Raazi” (2018), “Commando: A One Man Army” (2013), and “Vishwaroopam II” (2018). He received acclaim for his role in “An Action Hero” (2022) and starred in 2023 films “Jaane Jaan” and “Three of Us.” His television work includes “Bloody Brothers” (2022) and “The Broken News” (2022).

Ahlawat’s achievements include nominations for Best Actor (Negative) at the 2013 Zee Cine Awards/Star Screen Awards and a win for Best Actor (Drama Series) at the 2020 Filmfare OTT Awards for “Paatal Lok.” He received a nomination for Best Supporting Actor at the 2023 Filmfare Awards for “An Action Hero.” As of 2024, he has a pending nomination for Best Actor (Critics) at the Filmfare Awards for “Three of Us.”
