Story:

Pradeep Deva Kumar is the writer and director of the Telugu-language crime thriller television miniseries Locked. Starring with Satya Dev are John Kottoly, Vasu Inturi, Bindu Pagidimarri, Aberaam Varma, Keshav Deepak, Sri Lakshmi, and Samyukta Hornad. The story revolves around neurosurgeon Dr. Anand Chakravarthy (Satya Dev), who finds himself stranded in his own house with burglars and unexpected visitors. Season 1 debuted on Aha on March 25, 2020, and consists of seven episodes. The news that the show would get a second season renewal came out in July 2021.

Thank you to Dr. Anand Chakravarthy for his significant study on brain surgery. He is a successful neurosurgeon who has never lost a patient. He heads home after saving a child who is in serious condition one day. But when Padmini, a burglar who needs money to give her grandchild a nice life, employs Vaishnavi, an ex-IT worker who wants to look after her mentally ill sister, and Siva, a cab driver who tried to kill himself after breaking up with his girlfriend because he didn’t have enough money, they form a gang and raid bachelors’ houses.

They went into Anand’s home to steal something. They attempt to outwit Anand after a great deal of confusion, but in the end he captures them and imprisons them in a room. Anesthesiologist Dr. Misbah, Anand’s colleague, arrives at his home in the meantime, fed up with his suspicious wife Fatima. Reluctantly, Anand agrees to host him even though he does not want to.

To Misbah’s dismay, Fatima also shows up to the residence to tell Anand how she feels. Misbah and Fatima accuse one another of being unfaithful.Inspector Sivalingam, on the other hand, who was over for a drink, discovers an enigmatic black cover that is packed with human organs. He threatens to arrest Anand while interrogating him about it. But Anand murders him horrifyingly by slicing a knife through his stomach. Fatima tries to flee, but Anand’s goons catch her.

Avinash, Anand’s younger brother, regards Anand with admiration and feels that he saved their mother by successfully operating on a rare tumor. Later on, he learns that Anand is abducting and killing homeless people in order to conduct research. Then, Anand kidnaps him as well. He tells him about his research and how it aims to recreate a person’s memory in order to revive a deceased person.

Following the death of his devoted wife Sudha from brain cancer, he made the decision to work on this research. He declares that by killing them and studying their brains, he will be successful in his studies in a week. His goal is to resurrect his memories by manipulating them in order to become a man. He declares that he will begin his wife’s surgery to recreate her memories in order to resurrect her.

A power outage that occurs later in the evening provides the guests with an opportunity to flee. Fathima murders Anand’s goon while making her getaway, but the home is secured from the outside. But then Avinash has escaped and taken hold of Anand’s research book, threatening to destroy it in return for Anand saving their lives. Despite his cautions, Anand claims he is not concerned and that he is thinking about his studies because he has essentially acquired all the necessary knowledge. Additionally, he states that he wrote this book with his next generation of driven doctors in mind, like Avinash, who he believes can improve the world.

Everyone tries to flee in the meantime, but Anand stops them once more. Padmini devises a scheme to murder Anand for sparing their lives after learning that Siva was slain and that Anand had stolen his brain for scientific purposes. During the struggle, Vaishnavi manages to break free from the house, and it turns dark inside.

Vaishnavi is back in the IT sector six months later. One day, Anand pays her an unexpected visit and offers her a one-time payment in exchange for maintaining his secrets, along with a warning not to oppose him. Anand responds with a sneer and walks away when Vaishnavi asks him inquisitively about the other individuals, implying that he has killed everyone and stolen their minds for his studies.

Avinash leaves his class later that day, dehydrated and sad. He examines his surgically repaired head. It is stated that Avinash begged Anand to spare him and his mother after becoming horrified to see his mother among the kidnapped individuals. After performing an unexplained procedure on him, Anand released him. “Successor in Hyderabad: Altering memory modules” appears on the main page of the newspaper the next day, suggesting a new season.
