Indian actress Sandhya Mridul can be seen in both Bollywood movies and television shows. She was the first runner-up on the reality dance show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa (Season 2) (2007) and is best known for her work in movies like Saathiya (2002) and Page 3 (2005). ‘Sandy’, also known as Sandhya, was born in Mumbai to P. R. Mridul and his spouse.
The family thereafter relocated to New Delhi. She left home at the age of ten to go to Jaipur’s Maharani Gayatri Devi Girls’ Public School. Later on, she went to New Delhi’s Mater Dei Convent School. Her older brother, Siddharth Mridul, who was the Chief Justice of the Manipur High Court and formerly a judge of the Delhi High Court, raised her when her father, a lawyer who eventually became a high court judge, passed away when she was fourteen years old. Pankaj is the name of her other older brother. She attended Lady Sriram College, Delhi. She graduated in Mathematics, did her post graduation in marketing and went on to do a corporate job with KLM in Mumbai.
