Prashanth Srinivas is a multi-instrumentalist, singer, and composer. In Mumbai, Prashanth underwent eight years of official training in vocal Indian classical music. At the KM Music Conservatory, which Oscar-winning composer Dr. A.R. Rahman founded, he also studied piano with Dr. Adam Greig. He relies heavily on the Indian Bamboo Flute (Bansuri) as part of his musical instruments. He has taken part in several musical events in India as a vocalist, pianist, and flutist since he started studying music.
He has an audio engineering diploma from the SAE Institute in Singapore, which allows him to easily transition into the electro-acoustic genre. His musical tastes span the decades, from John Williams and Jerry Goldsmith to more modern composers like Hans Zimmer, Alexandre Desplat, and Danny Elfman, to early Hollywood greats like Bernard Hermann and Ennio Morricone.
He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Singapore’s Nanyang Technological University. His love of exploring new places and cuisines is reflected in the diversity of his artistic expression. His debut musical endeavor, RagaHaus, honors the diversity of today’s genre-bending music. Ascharyachakit, ImMATURE (2019), and Indori Ishq (2021) are among Prashanth Srinivas’s well-known works.
