NetflixKiller Soup is an Indian Hindi-language black comedy crime thriller series on Netflix, which premiered on January 11, 2024. The show is co-written by Abhishek Chaubey, Harshad Nalawade, Anant Tripathi, and Unaiza Merchant, with Chaubey also directing. The cast features Konkona Sen Sharma and Manoj Bajpayee.
The story is about Swathi Shetty, a talentless home chef, cooks up a bizarre plan to replace her husband, Prabhakar, with her lover, Umesh; when a bumbling inspector and amateur villains stir the pot, things don’t go as planned and a recipe for chaos ensues. Initially titled “Soup,” the series is loosely inspired by a 2017 case in Telangana and is available for streaming on Netflix.
