Next on Zed5’s schedule is the thriller D/o Prasad Rao: Kanabadutaledu, which is based on the account of a lost girl. The major lead in this series, which was introduced with great fanfare, is Rajeev Kanakala, who made an impression with a strong performance in Zed5’s Constable Kanakam.

Poluri Krishna is the director of the series, which is billed as a full-on suspense thriller. In this series, a well-known anchor who returned with Barbarik plays a police officer. This series, in which Vasanthika plays the principal female character, will be streamed starting on October 31, 2025, and on OTTplay Premium. Rajeev Kanakala, who portrays a loving father, claims that he immediately connected to the subject because he too had an adult daughter. As the title implies, the focus of the series is Rajeev Kanakala’s quest to find his daughter who has gone missing. What begins as a frantic hunt eventually unravels into a path of secrets, betrayals, and horrifying realities concealed beneath everyday lives.

The show’s highlight, according to Udaya Bhanu, is the harmony between emotions and excitement, which is evident in all seven of the episodes. Since she is the one assigned to handle the missing case, her role will be crucial.
