Indian presenter and actress Udaya Bhanu is most recognized for her roles in Telugu television series. On August 5, 1972, in Sultanabad, Karimnagar, Telangana, India, Udaya Bhanu was born. Her mother Aruna practices Ayurveda medicine, and her father S. K. Patel was a physician. She only has one brother. Her father was a poet as well. Udaya Bhanu got his name from the pen name he used. When Bhanu was four years old, he passed away.
At the age of 22, Bhanu made her stage debut in Erra Sainyam (1994), directed by R. Narayana Murthy. She has appearances in a few more Telugu movies, such as Shravana Masam (2005), Qaidi Brothers (2002), and Kondaveeti Simhasanam (2002). She has also acted in unreleased Tamil film Chinna Ramasamy Periya Ramasamy, directed by R. V. Udayakumar, costarring Jayaram, and lead roles in a few Kannada films. In the Telugu movies Julai (2012), Leader (2010), and Aapada Mokkula Vaadu (2008), she acted item numbers.
