Hyderabad, India is the birthplace of Sriram Maddury, also known as Sai Sriram Maddury, an Indian singer, music producer, and composer for motion pictures. After earning his undergraduate degree, he continued on to the University of North Carolina School of the Arts to obtain a master’s degree in film music composition. Eventually, he was employed by Hans Zimmer at Remote Control Productions in Los Angeles, where he collaborated with other well-known Hollywood composers to provide music for some of the most well-known films and television shows in the industry, including FBI, FBI: Most Wanted, and Hitman’s Wife’s Bodyguard.
His biggest break as a solo artist came when he wrote the music for the popular Zee5 India Web series “Loser,” a sports drama, and “Recce,” a crime thriller. Both received a great deal of praise from Indian reviewers and viewers. The press and his contemporaries held his music for “Recce” in particular in high regard as excellent work.
