Nandamuri Balakrishna is a person who believes in auspicious days and occasions. He makes sure that he releases his movies during Sankranthi festival and also, majorly starts his movies on the best possible auspicious days and muhurats. Now, he is going to start his life-long dream project, a film based on his father, Legendary Actor and famous political leader, Nandamuri Taraka Ramarao on the most auspicious day of the year for Telugu people, Ugadi.
It is the first day of the year and a day that every Telugu person intends to start and do all the possible positive things to achieve positive results year long. The actor wanted to start the shoot of his father’s biopic way early but as the production takes time to set up all the period sets and costumes from 1940’s to 80’s, effectively the timeline of the film, he thought to give the team ample time to do everything right.
The cast and crew are being decided as we speak. Also, Balakrishna needs time to recover from his latest surgery for his right shoulder. Once, he is fit, he would like to reduce some weight to portray his father from 40’s and put on few kilos to show the later stages, that is in 80’s. Prosthetics and graphics will be used to get the final look of the actor and this will be the highest budget film in his career. Teja will direct the movie and 18th March will be the launching date. Regular shoot will start from May.
