Story:

Haseen Khan and Esham Khan wrote, directed, and edited the 2025 Indian Kannada-language comedy drama film Vidyapati, which translates to “Vidya’s husband.” Malaika T. Vasupal and Nagabhushana are the film’s stars.

A colorful narration opens the movie, presenting Vidya, a box office star who sneaks out to eat roadside pani puri while wearing sunglasses. Here comes Siddhu, who at first appears as the hero, saving a woman from harassment on the street while exuding just enough confidence to pique Vidya’s interest. A series of coincidental events culminate in their marriage. Traditional rom-com structure? Not exactly.
