TheatreArvindh Srinivasan wrote and directed the 2025 Indian Tamil-language romantic action thriller Tharunam (translated as “Moment”), which was produced by Pugazh and Eden under the Zhen Studios banner. It starred Raj Ayyappa and Bala Saravanan in supporting roles, while Kishen Das and Smruthi Venkat played the main roles.
With varying reviews, Tharunam will be re-released in theaters on January 31, 2025. It was first released on a small number of screens on January 14, 2025, as a result of the certification delay.
At a wedding, Arjun, a CRPF officer on sabbatical, meets Meera. On the sidelines, Meera is enduring overt, one-sided amorous approaches from her neighbor Rohit as their romance simmers. In one of these incidents, Meera loses her composure and hits Rohit, killing him. It is now up to Arjun and Meera to hide the murder.
