Tanvi the Great

Story:

Anupam Kher is the director of the 2025 Hindi-language drama Tanvi The Great. produced by NFDC and Anupam Kher Studio.  Iain Glen and Anupam Kher are the film’s main actors.  On July 18, 2025, it was released in theaters to a mixed reception.

Tanvi Raina, a 21-year-old autistic woman, resides with her grandfather, Colonel Pratap Raina, and mother, Vidya. Tanvi is motivated to follow in her father’s footsteps and enlist in the army in order to realize her father’s ambition of saluting the flag at Siachen Glacier. Her father was Captain Samar Raina, an Indian Army officer who passed away.
