Following a successful theatrical run, the eagerly anticipated documentary “Proddatur Dussehra” is now available for streaming on ETV Win, introducing viewers from around the world to one of Andhra Pradesh’s most colourful and significant celebrations. The film, which is a Balcony Originals Production presented by Busetty Jewellers, was directed by Krishna Murali Thumma and produced by Prem Kumar Valapala. The documentary, which debuted in select Hyderabad and Proddatur theatres on October 31st, masterfully conveys the majesty, passion, and 135-year history of the Proddatur Dussehra celebrations.

“This documentary is a tribute to Proddatur’s devotion, unity, and artistic spirit,” the project’s creators stated. Our objective was to use film to convey the festival’s genuine spirit to the world. Yashwanth Nag (of Pareshan fame) created an evocative soundtrack and stunning graphics for Proddatur Dussehra, which transports viewers to the town’s annual celebration, religious rites, and sense of community pride. The documentary’s OTT debut on ETV Win, which comes after its successful theatrical run, is another significant milestone that enables viewers worldwide to appreciate Proddatur’s rich cultural legacy.
