Plot
Dasharatha Rama Naidu, who is dying, gives his son Ketti Lokanatham Naidu, also known as Loki, control of a rural political party. As he lies dying, Rama Naidu asks Loki to wed his widowed daughter-in-law, Savitri, whose husband and son, Keshava Naidu, were ambushed and murdered by an opposing political faction. Loki obliges. In Vijayawada, Loki is currently the next in line to run for chief minister 25 years later.
Mitranand is Loki’s stepson; Chinna is his biological son. Although Mitra is a loving and loyal stepson to Loki, Valli, his stepdaughter, despises him for severing his relationship with them by marrying their mother. Because Mitra is a thoughtful and sensible man and Chinna is a hot-blooded man with a careless lifestyle, Loki wants Mitra to be his heir. Chinna despises Mitra because he is constantly discouraged by his father from going into politics and feels that Mitra receives more attention from Loki than he does.
Mitra’s girlfriend is Latha, Valli’s sister-in-law. When Chinna finds out that Mitra has been appointed the party’s new youth president, she becomes irate.
That same evening, while under the influence of drugs, Chinna rapes and injures Nadia, the daughter of Hameed Basha. She tosses a beer bottle at Chinna’s friends when she wakes up and tries to defend herself. They are driving her to the hospital when they flip the car over from speeding. Nadia is hurt and barely alive, but Chinna and his friends escape the car unharmed.
Chinna’s friends persuade him to leave the area because, despite Nadia’s serious injuries, a police report will be made even if they admit her to the hospital. As the car catches fire, Chinna and his companions depart. The following day, Chinna sneaks into Valli’s hospital job. When she finds him, he tells her what transpired. She chastises him in return and threatens to call the police. When Basha tries to attack Chinna as the news reporters film him fleeing the hospital, Chinna stabs him instead. This entire thing is captured live. That way, Chinna’s actions are known to the entire state.
While Chinna attempts to have Mitra killed, Mitra wants to exact revenge on Chinna for this deed. After that, Chinna murders Valli and her husband for having despised him. In a plot twist, Loki gives up his political goodwill in order to keep Chinna safe. He and Mitra are compelled to face one another as a result.
When Mitra goes after Chinna in an attempt to exact revenge on Valli, Loki beats her up. After leaving the house, Mitra relocates to the village and makes an attempt to kill Chinna but is unable to do so.
Basha arrives at that precise moment and completes the deed. Loki gives the order to kill Basha and Mitra in the village. While transporting Mitra to the hospital following his serious injuries from the rival political party’s attack, Basha protects her from the thugs and tells him that Loki killed Keshava Naidu, Mitra’s biological father, out of jealousy and greed. Loki needed Rama Naidu’s favor because he was the heir apparent in his grandfather’s political party.
Loki needed Rama Naidu’s favor because he was the heir apparent in his grandfather’s political party. Mitra approaches Loki and informs him that studying the puranic texts won’t make up for his horrible nature. There are no heroes or villains in the Puranic stories; instead, it is just common people committing sins in order to achieve their objectives, as Loki informs him later. Then, as Loki goes to kill Basha, Mitra takes the gun away from him. Then, after Chinna’s death and the transformation of his most lovable son into an enemy, Loki begs to be killed.
By killing him, he begs him to absolve himself of the obligations he has. Mitra then collapses at Loki’s feet and confesses that Loki is the only father he has ever known and that she would not have loved Keshava Naidu as much as she does Loki. Mitra asks Loki to finish this game on his own behalf for the benefit of his mother, who became despondent and lost hope in life after losing her children. She assures him that he still loves him but does not hate him enough to kill him. Basha and Mitra walk away. Not long after, Loki shoots himself to avoid embarrassment. The movie finally ends with Mitra’s reign beginning.
