Story:

Suman Mukhopadhyay is the director of the 2019 Indian Hindi-language psychological thriller Posham Pa. Mahie Gill, Sayani Gupta, and Ragini Khanna play the primary protagonist roles in the movie. Although the movie shows serial killers killing children in large numbers, the title typically alludes to a children’s song. The movie’s narrative is based on the true incident of serial killer Anjana and her two daughters, Renuka Shinde and Seema Gavit, who abducted around forty children and killed about twelve on November 19, 1996. While their mother Anjana passed away in 1997 while inside, Seema and Renuka were executed in 2014 for the murders.

The narrative centers on Prajakta (Mahie Gill), a mentally ill mother who encouraged and forced her two children, Regha (Sayani Gupta) and Shikha (Ragini Khanna), to lead criminal lives. The sisters later tell Gundeep (Imaad Shah) and Nikhat (Shivani Raghuvanshi), two documentary filmmakers, about their murder of five children.
