Story:

Krishand is the writer and director of the 2026 Indian Malayalam-language science fiction satire Masthishka Maranam: A Frankenbiting of Simon’s Memories. Vinayaka Ajith and Krishand, respectively, are producing the movie under the names Ajith Vinayaka Films and Krishand Films. Niranj Maniyanpilla Raju and Rajisha Vijayan play the main parts in the movie. The movie explores media sensationalism and celebrity culture while following a female star embroiled in a public crisis in a retro-futuristic Kochi in 2046.  To portray a tale in an unusual style and make it believable for the realistic-minded Malayalam audience, a director must possess complete clarity in his technique. With movies like Purusha Pretham, Aavasvyuham, and Sangarsha Ghadana, director Krishand appears to have nailed this; his most recent dystopian satire is perhaps his most confident to date. The explanation is found in the movie itself, which immerses viewers in 2040 Neo Kochi, which is close to Hong Kong’s crowded skyscrapers. The universe in which its characters inhabit is both uncannily real and fictional. Krishand depicts a future society using science fiction and technology, yet it is nevertheless populated by incredibly real beings that are rooted in fear, loss, and desires.
