Indian cinematographer Prayag Mukundan mostly works in the Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi film industries. He was mentored by VFX director Biju Dhanapalan and cinematographers like C. K. Muraleedharan, Sujith Vaassudev, and Sudheer Palsane. He has a background in animation filmmaking and cinematography. Documentaries, commercials, short films, government projects, and research partnerships with IIT Bombay comprise Prayag’s early body of work. The Kannada film Thurthu Nirgamana (Emergency Exit) marked his feature film debut as director of photography
