TheatreInspired by a Hollywood film in which the protagonist didn’t care about bringing cash, food, or other necessities, Jigris, written and directed by rookie Harish Reddy Uppula, is a comedy that follows the lives of four friends who decide to go to Goa on a whim. The guys have no idea that their plan for Goa will expose them to further threats, such as a dacoit’s group and a wild rural marriage procession.
“Krishna, the producer, is my childhood friend,” said Sandeep Reddy Vanga during the teaser launch ceremony. He started the shot without telling me since he knew I would deter him. He showed me some rushes later, and I thought they were great. It’s admirable that Harish wrote a clean comedy in the modern era without any explicit dialogue or profanity. Additionally, Sandeep gave Kamran Syed’s soundtrack for the movie high marks, saying, “Your music is superb, and matches the film’s visuals perfectly.” A few weeks prior, Sandeep had also revealed the first look poster.
