Story:

On June 14, 2026, the critically acclaimed 45-minute Telugu independent drama Illu was launched. It can be streamed on ETV Win. Harshavardhan and Bindu Chandramouli star in this slice-of-life movie, which was directed by Rohit Penumatsa and Camp Sasi. It investigates the strong emotional bonds people have with their homes. The movie centers around middle-aged freelance writer Krishna Prasad (played by Harshavardhan) and his partner Kasturi (played by Bindu Chandramouli). They are forced to face the bittersweet memories, conversations, and everyday experiences associated with the house when their landlord asks them to leave their long-term rented residence.

Editor Avanti Ruia, cinematographer Shashank Raghavula, and music director Vivek Sagar make up the project’s staff. Critics have given it high marks for its mature performances and soft, nostalgic storytelling, which skillfully eschews dramatic turns in favor of subdued, slice-of-life realism. It is part of the weekly Katha Sudha anthology series on ETV Win.
