Dharma Kshetram

Story:

1992 saw the release of Dharma Kshetram, an Indian Telugu-language legal action movie directed by A. Kodandarami Reddy and produced by K. C. Reddy under the Sri Rajeev Productions label. With music by Ilaiyaraaja, it stars Divya Bharti and Nandamuri Balakrishna. When it was released on February 14, 1992, the movie did not do well in the box office.

The movie opens in a city that is in the midst of a political conflict between Durga Prasad and Pandu, two terrifying goons. The two weasels meddle and taint the politics of the student union, where Sambhu Prasad, the brother of Durga Prasad, butchers Prabhakar’s sibling Pandu. After witnessing the incident, lecturer Bharati is ready to testify. In the meanwhile, she is blocked by her younger brother Nagaraju, Durga Prasad’s sidekick. She resists, though, and is attacked by rotters close to the courthouse. Bharati is protected by advocate Banerjee, a rebel and man of rectitude, who is successful in forfeiting the guilty. His brother-in-law and sister are SP, thus his family is perfect. He develops feelings for a judge’s lovely Maithili daughter. Sadly, Pandu’s gang has his younger child, Kiran, in their grasp.

At present, Sambhu Prasad kills and abuses Bharati in retaliation for Nagaraju’s outburst, which leaves him seriously injured. Here, Benerjee uses a tactical one-on-one approach to make cases, to put it simply. In particular, Sambhu Prasad was slain by Pandu. Additionally, Pandu covers for Nagaraju, pressuring him to admit that Durga Prasad stabbed him. They cunningly flee the courtroom by mixing together. The upper headquarters of the party now permits Durga Prasad to run for mayor.
