Theatre“Brahma” is a 2014 Indian Kannada historical action drama film directed by R. Chandru and produced by Manjunath Babu. The movie stars Upendra in dual roles, although the characters never appear together on screen. It also features Pranitha Subhash and Sara Sharma, with Nassar, Rahul Dev, and Shayaji Shinde in prominent roles. The film, which spans four generations from the 16th to the 21st century, boasts an original soundtrack by Gurukiran and was dubbed into Telugu.
The plot follows Brahma, the son of Veera Brahma, a patriarch of the prestigious royal dynasty Raja Brahma. Brahma witnesses his father’s cruel treatment of the poor and decides to flee from home. Years later, he becomes a modern-day Robin Hood, stealing from the wealthy to provide for the needy. His mission leads him to confront his father and attempt to steal from him. However, Brahma is caught by ACP Shinde, to whom he reveals the motive behind his actions.
Subsequently, Brahma is taken to court and sentenced to prison, although his punishment is reduced due to pleas from his father and the public. Upon his release two years later, Brahma encounters a woman who is the wife of a gangster he had previously killed in Malaysia. Despite this, she forgives him after learning about his charitable deeds. Inspired by his experiences, Brahma addresses the press, advocating for kindness and altruism without expecting anything in return.
