Aye Zindagi

Story:

Aye Zindagi is a Indian drama film, inspired by a true story, and marks the directorial debut of Anirban Bose. Produced by Shiladitya Bora, the film stars three-time National Award-winning actor Revathy, along with Satyajeet Dubey, Mrinmayee Godbole, Sawan Tank, Hemant Kher, and Shrikant Verma in prominent roles. This is Shiladitya Bora’s second Hindi production under his banner Platoon One Films. The film was shot over 27 days, starting in September 2021, in a semi-functional hospital in Navi Mumbai, and various locations in Mumbai and Pune. Aye Zindagi was released in theaters in India and North America on October 14, 2022.

The story follows Vinay Chawla, a 28-year-old suffering from liver cirrhosis, as he struggles to cope with his illness. Encouraged by a counselor, his brother, and friends, Vinay fights to overcome his condition. His unexpected bond with a hospital grief counselor, played by Revathy, rekindles his hope and faith in life, reinforcing his belief in the power of humanity.
