Dr. Anirban Bose, a nephrologist at Strong Memorial Hospital, was inspired to become a director after meeting a man at a fundraising event for organ donation. He also serves as a clinical associate professor at the University of Rochester in upstate NY. Apart from his medical career, Dr. Bose is a musician and writer, having published three books titled Bombay Rains-Bombay Girls, Mice in Men, and The Death of Mitali Dotto.
His passion for ethical organ donation led him to work in India before moving to the USA. Dr. Bose is dedicated to promoting deceased donation and has been involved with MOHAN Foundation, observing its efforts to promote organ donation over the years. His journey from author to director culminated in the Hindi movie Aye Zindagi, set to release on October 14.
