Story:

Aa Ammayi Gurinchi Meeku Cheppali is a 2022 Telugu-language love drama film produced by Benchmark Studios and Mythri Movie Makers, with writing and directing by Mohana Krishna Indraganti. Sudheer Babu and Krithi Shetty are the film’s main stars. It received mixed reviews upon release on September 16, 2022, and was a big office hit. After being available on Amazon Prime Video, it did, however, receive positive reviews.

Plot

Naveen, a highly successful commercial director in Telugu cinema, just achieved his sixth consecutive hit and is currently in the process of directing another movie. Upon returning from his producer Fancy Parameshwar’s residence, a garbage truck loads a large amount of trash onto his vehicle. Naveen then decides to investigate after discovering an old container containing a film reel. Naveen is enthralled with scenes in the reel where a female is acting.

When he makes the decision to get to know her, he discovers that Alekhya is an eye doctor. In an attempt to convince her to appear in his movie, Naveen chooses to speak with Alekhya. However, as a result of her family’s strong animosity of moviegoers, Alekhya begins to grow distant from him.

One day, Naveen receives an invitation to be the primary guest at an event for Alekhya’s hospital and gives Alekhya a gift. One of the couples in attendance tells Naveen how much his videos have helped their late son after the ceremony.

After being touched by the tale, Alekhya chooses to accept Naveen’s gift. Alekhya makes the decision to go see Naveen at his place after learning what was in the present. After that, Naveen shows Alekhya the reel he discovered and tells him that the person on it is actually her deceased twin sister Akhila, not herself.

Alekhya informs Naveen that although Akhila had a strong desire to act since she was a little girl, her parents were against it because they believed it would damage their reputation in the community, particularly following Akhila’s portrayal of Romeo and Juliet in a play.

Akhila made her acting debut in a movie that her friend Deepak had directed. But when Akhila’s father pulled her out of the movie while it was being filmed, an infuriated Akhila made the decision to move out of the house. Later, Akhila’s parents disowned her after she married Deepak without their knowledge.

Later, the film entirely stalls due to the death of Deepak’s producer and their family in a vehicle accident, which sends Deepak into a depressive state. Deepak killed himself because he was depressed, leaving Akhila in shock.

Akhila also committed suicide by leaping from her apartment building since she was unable to handle this. After that, her family totally avoids going to the movies.

After being moved by Akhila’s story, Naveen chooses to write a story based on the lives of Akhila and Deepak. Venkat accepts his proposal. When Naveen pays Alekhya a visit, he informs her that Alekhya would be portraying Akhila in his movie.

Alekhya is hesitant, but Naveen persuades her by telling her about how, when he was just starting out in the business, his girlfriend was encouraged to have a sexual relationship with a producer in order to get a role, and she complied.

He was on the verge of suicide since he couldn’t process this, but after reading about Deepak’s passing in the papers, Naveen becomes inspired to produce profitable commercial films. He states that he genuinely wants to make a good film that pays respect to Akhila and Deepak. Ultimately, Alekhya consents to play the lead role in the movie without telling her family or parents.

Alekhya and Naveen develop a slow romantic relationship. Alekhya’s parents present Varun, the scientist son of a friend of the family, to Alekhya, whom they hope Alekhya will marry. Even though Varun has a small part in Naveen’s film and eventually comes to terms with it, he really ends up running into Alekhya again.

Up until one of her relatives notices her, everything goes according to plan. Alekhya becomes enraged at her parents for suppressing her sister’s emotions, which ultimately led to her death. She then makes the decision to move out of the house because her father thinks there has been rumour of her and Naveen. Alekhya chooses to finish the movie.

Naveen visits Alekhya’s parents after the movie is over, telling them that he truly tried his best to honor Akhila and Deepak and that he hopes they would feel the same way. As long as their viewpoints don’t shift, he vows to leave Alekhya permanently, not release the movie, and never again reveal his face to them. So they attend the premiere of his flick. After being antagonistic at first, the film starts to help them see their errors.

They cry when Naveen catches them off guard and reveals that he has incorporated clips from Akhila’s reel into the movie for a few sequences. Ultimately, he established a new producer for his picture “Fancy” at the end, which helped the plot turn out well. Parmeshwar added his life story and finished his film became a major hit, Akhila received a Filmfare Award, and she dedicated it to her parents.

Parmeshwar gave him credit for authorizing his present film and believing in him at his earlier stage. They inform Naveen and Alekhya after seeing the movie that they are proud of them both for the movie and for paying due respect to Deepak and Akhila. 6Then Alekhya and Naveen formally announce their romance.
