Story:

OMG 2 is a forthcoming Indian Hindi language satirical comedy-drama film written and directed by Amit Rai.It is a spiritual sequel to OMG – Oh My God! (2012) and stars Akshay Kumar, Pankaj Tripathi, Yami Gautam, Arun Govil, and Aamir Naik.The film is about the Indian education system.

It is slated to be released on August 11, 2023.

Announcement

The film was speculated to be in the works in January 2021, with Akshay Kumar and Paresh Rawal reprising their roles from the first installment, however Rawal dismissed the allegations. The sequel to OMG was ultimately confirmed in June 2021, with a new narrative starring Kumar. That same month, Pankaj Tripathi and Yami Gautam were cast as additional recruits, while Arun Govil joined the cast as Lord Rama in November 2021.

Filming

On September 2, 2021, Tripathi began the first schedule of the film in Mumbai. On October 23, 2021, Akshay Kumar arrived on the set for the second schedule. The film’s third schedule began in December 2021.
