Kalki 2898 AD (Project K)

Story:

Project K is an upcoming Indian sci-fi action film written and directed by Nag Ashwin. It is produced by C. Aswani Dutt under Vyjayanthi Movies and features Amitabh Bachchan, Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, and Disha Patani. The movie will be shot simultaneously in Telugu and Hindi. It was announced in February 2020 on the occasion of Vyjayanthi Movies’ 50th anniversary but faced a one-year delay due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Filming commenced in July 2021 at Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad, where a futuristic set was built.

With a budget of ₹500 crore (US$63 million), Project K is expected to be one of the most expensive Indian films ever made. Santhosh Narayanan will compose the music, Djordje Stojiljkovic will handle the cinematography, and Nitin Zihani Choudhary will oversee production design. The film is set to release on January 12, 2024, in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and globally in multiple languages, including English.
