Story:

Prasanth Varma is the writer and director of the upcoming Telugu-language Indian superhero movie Hanu Man, popularly known as HanuMan. The film, which is produced by Primeshow Entertainment, stars Teja Sajja, Vinay Rai, Raj Deepak Shetty, Amritha Aiyer, and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar in an ensemble cast. The first film in the Prasanth Varma Cinematic Universe (PVCU), Hanu Man, is based in the made-up village of Anjanadri. Adhira follows.

On January 12, 2024, the film is slated to be released in honor of Sankranti. On May 29, 2021, Varma, who also happens to be his birthday, announced the release of his fourth picture, Zombie Reddy (2021), which he directed with success. The movie is slated to be Telugu cinema’s first superhero movie, according to the announcement.

“The film is inspired by the Hindu God Hanuman,” the actor claimed in an interview with Deccan Chronicle. “As for the title of the film, Prasanth says he chose it because it was a dedication to many who, when they think of any superpower or a superhero in Hindu mythology, we remember Lord Hanuman” In reference to the movie’s title, the protagonist in the story is called Hanu-Man.

For the film’s soundtrack, Anudeep Dev, Hari Gowra, and Krishna Saurabh were brought on board. The editor of it is SB Raju Tallari. On the day of the movie’s premiere, Teja Sajja joined the cast as the lead actor. The proclaimed name of the made-up village was Anjanadri. On June 25, 2021, the movie had its official premiere in Hyderabad, complete with a pooja ceremony and muhurtam shooting.

The film’s principal photography took place on the same day. Forty percent of the filming was finished as of August 2021. In September 2021, a few action scenes and songs were filmed in Maredumilli and Paderu, Andhra Pradesh. At the November 2022 teaser presentation event in Hyderabad, Varma disclosed that the production budget had grown six times over its original estimate.
