Biography:

Yuvarani is an Indian actress known for her work in Tamil films and television serials. She has played significant roles in both mediums, including portraying Rajinikanth’s sister in the film “Baashha” and appearing as Prabhavathy in the popular Tamil serial “Chithi.” Additionally, she took on the role of Sundari in the serial “Thendral.”

In April 2010, Yuvarani was involved in a legal controversy where she filed a defamation suit against two distributors and the publisher of the magazine “Indian Movie News” (IMN). The civil suit, initiated in 2003, sought RM70,000 in damages. Yuvarani claimed that she had been defamed by false and malicious material published in the Tamil-language magazine, specifically in its April 1998 and August 1998 issues. The lawsuit ultimately resulted in her winning the damages.

Yuvarani’s career has spanned both the film and television industries, and she has successfully addressed issues of defamation through legal means, securing compensation for harm caused by false publications in the past.
